     The world of ants is very diverse and complicated. There is more to ants than most think like how they farm or fight and build. Ants are part of our world and they are a very interesting part that is good to know more about.

Ant facts and blog introduction

  I have decided to study the intricate workings of the little known but extremely interesting world of ants. In my blog I will be studying carpenter ants, fire ants, and cow ants. I will be describing and adding videos and info on ant environment, habits, behaviors, and food source as well as some random interesting facts about ants. Ants are a very diverse species with about 12,000 known species of ants worldwide but there are new species still to discover. Ants are found on every continent except antarctica and there is anywhere from 100 trillion ants to 10,000 the number is to massive to know for sure but the queen of a colony can lay thousands of eggs in her life time.
